in bluedrums&purplesnares you play as the fan of the elusive DJ "DeerHead," who has yet again escaped the throws of fame just before an anticipated mountain-top set to hide out and live his life in peace. In the meantime he has scattered drum loops of his next hit all throughout the valley, waiting for someone with a keep observant eye to snatch them up and save the rave.
